Te Kamo School - Parent Interviews

Week 11; Monday June 29th - Thursday July 2nd

Parent interviews are now available to book online via the Skool Loop app. 

You will now be able to open the Skool Loop app,  then select ‘Bookings’ to reserve a time with your child’s classroom teacher. 

Select ‘Bookings’ - Select your child’s Teacher - Select the Date - Select the Time - Then complete your details and select ‘Book Interview’ to confirm. 

You will need to complete this process again if you have more than 1 child at Te Kamo School. 

If you are not using the Skool Loop app you can phone Denise Batten on 094351482 ext 201 or email finance@kamoprimary.school.nz and she can book a time that suits. 

Fidget Toys

We are getting an increasing amount of fidget toys at school, and they are beginning to cause a problem as they’re not being used for their intended purpose.  The purpose of a fidget toy is to help regulate the nervous system, so that concentration can take place for the learner in the classroom.

We have students who use fidget toys to support regulation in class, as this is often a recommendation to support their neurodiverse needs.  If this is the case for your child, please make contact with their teacher to discuss further.

We do not have personal toys out in the playground or at school as we cannot be responsible for them. As you can imagine it causes many concerns.

Please check your child’s bag before coming to school and remove anything that is not appropriate.  We have sports gear available for our students to use during their break times.
