Kamo Primary School

We are a learning community providing quality education for children predominately living in the Kamo area of Whangarei. We cater for children from New Entrants to Year 6. The total Kamo Primary School roll is usually in the vicinity of 390 to 475.

Our school vision is ‘Learning for the Future’ and we feel this illustrates the journey of lifelong learning which is at the heart of the New Zealand Curriculum.

Welcome to our KPS News Show, hosted by Ariya and Cara. Our recent colour run features in this weeks show. What an amazing event that raised $9000 for our new playground. Reminder- Colour Run tomorrow

10 Sep 2024

Quick reminder our School Colour Run is tomorrow. Your child will need : old clothes (or a change of clothing for after), a small towel and a bag to put dirty and wet things in afterwards. Parent/whanau participation is welcome and encouraged!

We will try to run each group as close to the following as possible -
11.00am – Year 0/1 girls

11.10am – Year 0/1 boys

11.20am – Year 2 girls

11.30am – Year 2 boys

11.40am – Year 3 girls

11.50am – Year 3 boys

12.00pm – Year 4 girls

12.10pm – Year 4 boys

12.20pm – Year 5 girls

12.30pm – Year 5 boys

12.40pm – Year 6 girls

12.50pm – Year 6 boys
