We are a learning community providing quality education for children predominately living in the Kamo area of Whangarei. We cater for children from New Entrants to Year 6. The total Kamo Primary School roll is usually in the vicinity of 390 to 475.
Our school vision is ‘Learning for the Future’ and we feel this illustrates the journey of lifelong learning which is at the heart of the New Zealand Curriculum.

Kia ora whanau,
Attendance has been very good this week till the rain came. We have been sitting at 92%. However, Thursday and today has seen a drop down in the 80’s.
It would be great if we can remove weather as the obstacle for not being at school.
The team at Te Kamo love to see all students all the time. Equally we know illness is creeping in. Are you a neighbour to someone not attending when it rains? Can you offer transport, or a space under your umbrella? There is nothing more wonderful than kindness.
Looking forward to seeing everyone on Monday.
