We are a learning community providing quality education for children predominately living in the Kamo area of Whangarei. We cater for children from New Entrants to Year 6. The total Kamo Primary School roll is usually in the vicinity of 390 to 475.
Our school vision is ‘Learning for the Future’ and we feel this illustrates the journey of lifelong learning which is at the heart of the New Zealand Curriculum.

To our Great Community,
We need your help. As you are aware the government has a big drive on attendance and we as a school agree, being at school is important.
Please can we stress that we need to see your child/ren each school day. We know sickness is very real but sometimes we are told other reasons.
The team really want to see all students at school Please help us.
